If you need hours outside of New Haven Promise, most schools will honor these hours and the location. If you need more than 40 hours with your school, this is an excellent opportunity. Check with your guidance counselor.

* MUST HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
This includes sorting, organizing, labeling, lifting and moving items.
Lunch is on your own. Some snacks and water provided. Work materials are also provided.
This is our biggest opportunity for the fall. Complete your hours early and you won't have to scramble for them in the spring!

Do you like to sing or play a musical instrument? You do not have to be the perfect singer, you just need to have a perfect enthusiasm to learn the songs and share your smile when we ring the doorbells and start singing.
13 Weeks / 26 hours
Every Friday Rehearsal Sept. 8 - Dec. 8 (except Nov. 24)

We MUST begin preparations NOW.
(Must attend all rehearsals, complete the entire tour and sing at the awards celebration in order to receive the hours).
Exact Rehearsal location will be in New Haven, but determined late August.

(1 - 2 positions possible)
Do you like to talk or be on camera? Perhaps you would like to try your hand at becoming the CCMT spokesperson for this school year? We are looking for someone who will read and record facts, stories and announcements for our social media platforms. We provide the scripts and all you have to do is read them! 15 hours is the minimum you can earn. If you like the project, you could earn even more hours!

Virtual Opportunity to work from home on your own time. (1 - 2 positions open)
Students are constantly discovering the joy and art of writing out cards and earning hours at the same time. They love to hear how something so small and so simple can boost the morale of a city! Many students also love to draw artwork in their cards and hear how the recipients have a hard time getting rid of the cards because they are so humbled that students took time for them.

Do you like to make or design crafts, ornaments, origami or other mementos? Do you knit, crochet, draw, sew, craft-paint or do other crafts or even jewelry? We are always looking for a small gift to give to others that they can use as a decorative reminder of our Christmas visit or that they can use in a practical way. Earn hours as you create!

Every single year students tell us how surprised they are to learn how relaxing and fulfilling it is to write out Christmas cards while earning hours at the same time. They love to hear how something so small and so simple can boost the morale of a city!
